The first thing that caught me in Bengal cats are their docility and exceptional

intelligence. I found a video on the internet, where a Bengal cat did the same tricks

as a Border Collie! As a dog owner it is important to me that my beloved animal should

be easy to handle and we both enjoy the time during the learning process.

For these aims the Bengal cat was 100% satisfying. After that I started to dig deeper into the topic, and every day I find something in the breed, which forced me to have to deal with them more seriously. And yes, it was a good decision! The Bengal cat has a very affectionate and people-oriented personality; in addition they are friendly to other animals. In our home the dog and the cat are friend for ever, they are "saliva brothers" and panders. Next to a Bengal you never can be bored or sad, because they are always ready to play. Very active and vivid breed, with a need for great movement, that's why they need above average care and attention! As I mentioned they can be easily trained, we learn a trick only during a few days. It's known about the Bengals that they are talkative, but in our household the dog "meows" more :) They have more big cat features that are genetically encoded in the breed. For example, the love of water, the digging of the remaining (or non-favorite) food for "rough" times and the typical "panther-mouth" that enables them to identify different smells.
